Annual inspections are required on all types of cranes and typically a Third party crane inspection is required, in lieu of in-house inspections, by general contractors, property managers, Military installations, power plants and others before allowing cranes onto their property and/or jobsite. Crane Industry Services (CIS) provides third party inspections for all types of mobile, tower and overhead cranes, as well as rigging for each crane type and job. CIS inspectors provide customers with the assurance that equipment will be accurately inspected. CIS inspectors know the difference between parts that need a simple repair and parts that must be replaced for safe crane operations. CIS responds quickly to calls for inspections; maintains records and will proactively contact crane owners prior to the next year's inspection date.
